Lutheran Services in Iowa

Funded through the Iowa Department of Public Health and coordinated by LSI, Parent Pals is an innovative, comprehensive approach to strengthening families in Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine and Scott Counties through home visitation.

Parent Pals is committed to connecting expectant parent, young children and their families to appropriate services with respect to each family’s unique needs and characteristics.  It provides a single point of entry for access, universal assessment and referrals for family support services.

Services are:

• Interagency Program, established partnership with multiple organizations  in the community
• Focus on child development well baby, well child, prenatal, post partum health and well being, family stability, safety and parenting
• Father Advocate Services
• Monthly Parenting Education Groups
• Parent Advisory Group
• Serve non-English speaking families
