Joe Taylor is President/CEO of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau, a position he has held for 10 years. He holds a degree in History from Illinois State University. Joe is a former newspaper editor and reporter and promoted tourism in Clinton, IA and Galesburg, IL before joining the Quad Cities CVB in 1989. Among his accomplishments are assembling (and keeping) one of the leading CVB staffs in the Midwest, being one of only 47 accredited CVB's in the world, and receiving distinquished service awards from Midwest Travel Writers Association, Iowa Tourism Office and Western Illinois University.
