David Dailey is the Federal Security Director (FSD) at the Quad City International Airport (MLI) in Moline, Illinois. As FSD, He is responsible for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) federal security oversight of eight airports and TSA surface transportation security operations in Downstate Illinois.   
 
Mr. Dailey started his career with TSA in 2002 at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).  He was part of the federalization team at Seattle.  In 2009, Mr. Dailey was promoted to Assistant Federal Security Director – Generalist (AFSD-G) at Moline, IL and was responsible for several programs including: Administrative Officer, Qualitiy Assurance program manager, screening operations, training, coordination center, emergency preparedness, Conflict Management Coordinator and Screening of Passengers by Observation Technique (SPOT).  Mr. Dailey was detailed at TSA Headquarters in 2010 to work on national staffing allocations. 

Prior to TSA, Mr. Dailey was a police officer in Phoenix, Arizona and Renton, Washington. He served as an officer and detective for 10 years in a variety of offices including: undercover narcotics, homicide, persons/property crimes and instructor. 

Mr. Dailey served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years working at NORAD in aerospace control and satellite data systems at several duty stations in the United States and Australia. 

A native of Sacramento, CA, David Dailey is a father of one son and two daughters.  Mr. Dailey enjoys hobbies that include motorcycling, reading, sports and movies.
