Rob Sand is a native of Decorah, Iowa. As Assistant Attorney General, he has prosecuted most of Iowa's public corruption and major financial crime over the last decade, including the Iowa Film Office Tax Credit scandal, and uncovering and prosecuting the largest lottery-rigging scandal in American history. He attended Brown University in Rhode Island and the University of Iowa Law School. He is now a candidate for Iowa's State Auditor. He and his wife Christine have two young sons.
