Major General Robert M. Radin serves as a Commanding General of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command at the Rock Island Arsenal.  Major General Radin manages Army pre-positioned stocks located in strategic sites around the world and maintains weapons and equipment at bases in potential domestic and forward support areas. His command is an immediate response supplier for U.S. forces in worldwide areas of current threat including the domestic United States.  Major General Radin has provided support for US forces serving in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Djibouti.  He has also served in Korea, Germany, and Saudi Arabia; with the 18th Airborne Corp he went to Grenada with Operation Fury and with the 1st Armored Division in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

He is a 1976 graduate of the US Military Academy in West Point NY, he also holds degrees from Florida Institute of Technology, the National Defense University, Army Command and General Staff College, and Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Amongst his many awards he is an Expert Infantryman;  Parachutist; Air Assault Qualified; and Ranger Tab.  Major General Radin is a native of North Plainfield, New Jersey and married to former Army Lieutenant Colonel Sara Rose.
