Wes Hall, Assistant RAGBRAI Director

Wes enters his second year as Assistant Director of the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa - RAGBRAI(tm). Wes has extensive experience in event management and brings a wealth of knowledge in bicycle tour directing.

From 2003 to 2006, Wes served as the tour coordinator for Bike Virginia. He worked with the BikeWalk Virginia staff to successfully direct three Bike Virginia tours, in addition to reviving the Tour de Chesapeake and creating the Northern Neck RiverRide in 2006.

Wes is a member of the National Bicycle Tour Director's Association (NBTDA), where he currently serves as the vice president and newsletter editor.

Wes and his wife Annie have relocated from Newport News, Va. to Ankeny, Iowa. They have been married for 5 years and have welcomed their first child, Sydney Grace, to the world in March of 2007.

Wes earned is Bachelors degree in History at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his Masters in Sports Management from Old Dominion Univerisity in Norfolk, Virginia.
