Join us on Monday, October 22 as President/CEO of the Putnam Museum, Kim Findlay, updates us on the latest developments at the museum.

Prior to joining the Putnam, Kim worked with United Way of the Quad Cities Area from 1990 to 2004, where she served as President for the last nine years. She was instrumental in increasing annual funds raised by 30% as well as launching many successful community initiatives, including Contributor Choice; Outcomes Measurement for funded programs; the Community Partnership Grant Fund and the nationally-recognized Success By 6 initiative.


 

Ms. Findlay serves on the board of CommUniversity and Quad City Arts and has been a Steering Committee member for Festival of Trees, co-chairing fundraising.  She has served on the Executive Committee for the HeartWalk as sponsorship chair and logistics chair.  She launched and has often participated in the Annual Day of Caring with thousands of Quad City area volunteers.  A few years ago, Kim and her husband traveled to Nicaragua and built cinder block homes in a village near Masaya.   

Kim received her bachelor’s in Business Administration from Marycrest College and has done post graduate work in Non-Profit Management at St. Ambrose University.

She is married to Rick Brackey and has three adult stepchildren and six grandchildren.  She resides in Durant we her husband and two Golden Retrievers – Harley and Ella.
