Dr. Steve Kopp, Genesis Psychology Associates

Steve G. Kopp, Ph.D. is in private practice with Genesis Psychology Associates, an affiliate of Genesis Health System. Dr. Kopp is dual licensed in the state of Iowa as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Mental Health Counselor. In addition to his practice, Dr. Kopp is very active providing trainings and workshops to businesses, schools, and the public. You may have heard or seen Dr. Kopp on several of our local television and radio programs including Paula Sands Live, Radio Iowa, and Albredt in the AM. Additionally, Dr. Kopp educates the public on mental health through regular appearances on the local news and daily paper. He has published several book chapters on client efficacy and monitoring therapeutic effectiveness. Prior to establishing his practice in Iowa, Dr. Kopp was the Director of Domestic Violence and Anger Management Program for a center that directly served the judical system in Broward County, FL. He provided individual, marital, family, and group therapy to both voluntary and court mandated clients. He is proud to live here in the Quad-cities with his wife Laura, who is the Director of the Child Protection Centers in the Quad-cities, and his two children Alex and Julia.
