Monique Gorsline graduated from University of Iowa Business School in 1991 and University of Iowa Law School in 1994.   From 1994 to 1996, she was a federal law clerk for The Honorable Ronald E. Longstaff, United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.   From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Gorsline practiced as an attorney with Lane & Waterman.   In 2001 she joined Deere & Company's Global Law Services Group as the company's information technology, internet and privacy attorney.  

In 2006 she changed practice areas and became a member of the Global Law Services Security and Finance Group.   Currently her responsibilities include providing legal support for Deere & Company's Pension, Treasury, Audit and Compensation and Benefits departments.  Since 2007 she has been responsible for drafting Deere & Company's proxy statement.    She is also the Chair of the Global Law Services Group's Pro Bono Committee.    

Ms. Gorsline is an active member of her church and a volunteer for Junior Achievement.   She and her husband, Michael, who is also an attorney, live in Bettendorf, Iowa with their eight year old daughter, their three year old son and the family's newest addition, a Wheaton Terrier.

John Bustle, Vice President John Deere Foundation, and Manager, Corporate Citizenship, joined Deere & Company in 1976, following graduation from the University of Wisconsin â?" Platteville.  He has held management and leadership positions in Accounting, Diversity, Human Resources, Communications and Corporate Citizenship.  Throughout his career he has worked with other leadership across the John Deere organization on planning, policy development and implementation, and communication.

 

He joined the John Deere Foundation in 2004 to help develop new strategies for philanthropy and to extend its impacts internationally.  During his tenure Mr. Bustle has led the Foundation's efforts to adopt and implement a new area of strategic philanthropy referred to as Solutions for World Hunger, with a focus on supporting global organizations that work primarily to create sustainable agricultural development to eliminate hunger.  Recently he has assumed additional responsibilities for Community Relations and Corporate Sponsorships, and John Deere Foundation operations.    

 

Mr. Bustle currently serves as a director on the boards of the Quad Cities Cultural and Educational Supporting Trust, Junior Achievement of the Heartland, the Development Association of Rock Island, and the Hammond Henry Hospital Foundation.  In recent years he also served on the Geneseo Community Chest board (president); the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Foundation board; and as treasurer of Northwest Illinois Cursillo.       


Mr. Bustle and his wife, Marilyn have been actively engaged in community service and Christian lay ministry for many years.  They have three young adult children.
