All Aboard Amtrak Update!

Last summer Paul Rumler presented a program to our club about Amtrak service to the Quad Cities.  Paul is going to join us again on Monday to update us on the status of plans to bring Amtrak.  

Paul Rumler is the Executive Vice President of the Illinois Quad City Chamber of Commerce.   Paul also serves as the Executive Director for the Quad Cities Passenger Rail Coalition, which is a Chamber-led initiative working to re-establish passenger rail service to the Quad Cities.

Paul Rumler has worked on the Congressional staff in Washington, DC for Representative Steny Hoyer, the current U.S. House Majority Leader, and Representative Bart Gordon.  He previously worked as a Legislative and Staff Director in the Massachusetts State Senate.  Also, Paul was twice a Democratic Candidate for Illinois State Senate in 2006 and 2008.

Paul earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from GeorgiaStateUniversity in Atlanta and an Associate's Degree from BlackHawkCollege.
