Alan Asay and Scott Scharr "MUGZ"

The "Mississippi Unquenchable Grail Zymurgists", better known as MUGZ, was founded in the early 1990's.  MUGZ is the Quad Cities' area homebrew club focused simply on enjoying good homebrew with good people. MUGZ members are as diverse as the Quad Cities, but we share one common love-BREWING GOOD BEER! 
 
Whether you enjoy a cool Bohemian Pilsener, a fine German Lager, or a creamy Irish Stout, you can find someone to share it with in MUGZ.  Regardless if you are just beginning with extract brewing, are in between with partial mashing, or an all-grain brewer; you will find fellow members to talk with and learn from.

Alan Asay and Scott Scharr will be discussing American Beer history and homebrewing.  Starting with the early colonial days through the legalization of home brewing.  The will also take a look at the current beer culture, craft brew, micro brew and home brew.
