In his 19th year as radio voice of the Iowa Hawkeye Network covering football and basketball with Ed Podolak and Bobby Hansen. 

Hosts weekly Coaches radio and TV shows with Kirk Ferentz and Fran McCaffery. 

A 40 year broadcast veteran of radio and television, Gary spent six years calling Northwestern University games and ten years with the Chicago Bears in television production. 

Since 1987 Gary has been Vice President for Business Development at U.S. Bank 

Gary has volunteered for many charitable and civic organizations like United Way, American Cancer Society, Dubuque Colts Drum and Bugle Corp, and has served as Master of Ceremonies at countless fund raising events over those 40 years. 

Gary and wife Cindy have one son Neil, a Police Officer and they have two grand daughters, Rae and Maddie.
