Decker is a graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa with a B.A. in Criminal Justice, and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Quantico, Virginia, and the National Crime Prevention Institute at the University of Louisville and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. He is Past President and current member of the Bettendorf Rotary Club, a member of the Executive Board of Medic Ambulance Corporation, serves on the Board of Directors of the Illowa Boy Scout Council, he serves as Chairperson for the Board of the First Tee of the Quad Cities and is Past President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Iowa City Managers' Association, a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Active Seniors (CASI), and is a Past Volunteer Chairman of the John Deere Classic PGA Tour Golf Tournament. Decker has been the Bettendorf City Administrator since 1990. He also served the City as Chief of Police from 1986 through 1990 and prior to that held positions of Detective Sergeant, Detective, and Patrolman and started his career with the city in 1975. Decker is married with two adult children, Decker II who resides in LeClaire, IA with his wife Sarah and his daughter Sarah, who resides in LeClaire, IA with her husband Ryan. Decker and his wife, Jayne, reside in Bettendorf. |

Come and enjoy a tour of the newly remodeled and expanded Davenport Central Fire Station, hosted by our very own Fire Chief, Chief Lynn Washburn-Livingston.
"The Central Fire Station is located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States and serves as the headquarters of the Davenport Fire Department, as well as the downtown fire station. Built from 1901 to 1902, it is the oldest active fire station west of the Mississippi River. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places."

If you have a dietary request, please provide in the comment section of registration & we will do our best to accommodate your request. *Guests-You may invite a guest, but please be sensitive to the fact there is limited space, at the fire station. Guests and Senior Active Members will be the normatl lunch price of $13.00.

Support a great cause! Fundraising Focus: This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Annual Wingfest Fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Davenport. The Club would like to celebrate with a special thank you to all the past Wingfest, sponsors, winners, and participants. This year the Club made the decision focus their fundraising efforts to benefit one specific charity, rather than multiple charities. The Rotary Club of Davenport is supporting the “The Miracle Field” project to be constructed at Prairie Heights Park, 5600 Eastern Ave. Davenport, Iowa. The fundraising goal to construct this project is $1 million and the Rotary Club of Davenport has committed to raising $50k for this amazing project. Achieving the Fundraising Goal & Raffle Ticket Purchase: To raise funds for this project, the Rotary Club of Davenport will be selling raffle tickets for $100 each. tickets.
